Our Response is Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the Church: that we may share the light of the Gospel with all who are struggling to recognize good from evil, and truth from lies, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For elected and appointed officials: that they may repent of past wrongs, and work together to confront evil and violence in the world, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all who face social, cultural, political, or familial opposition to embracing the Word of God: that the Lord will strengthen their hearts, and introduce them to loving communities, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all the Elect as they prepare to become full members of the Church this Easter: that God will help them to recognize the blindness that clouds their vision, and give them a new awareness of His presence in their lives, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For those attending this weekend's Koinonia Retreat: that this time of reflection will draw them closer to God and give them the insight and courage to share their gifts with the community, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that God will give us greater insight into God’s relationship with us and deeper trust in God’s care for us through the challenges that we face each day, we pray to the Lord:

For the Church, that we may be a source of living water for all who thirst for meaning and purpose in their lives:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For an end to bloodshed and violence in areas of conflict: that God will lead human hearts away from killing and violence into paths of peace and reconciliation, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all who thirst every day, especially refugees, the victims of violence, natural disasters, and war: that God will help and assist them and that our hearts may be more sensitive to the plight of all who are suffering, we pray to the Lord:

For all the Elect: that they may reflect upon their lives and allow God more fully into their hearts this Lent
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may not be seduced by superficial satisfactions but seek the One who can fulfill our deepest longings, we pray to the Lord:
