For the Church: that we may be touched by joy each day and draw strength from God’s Word as challenges enter our lives, we pray to the Lord:

For all in public service: that they may fulfill their obligations fully and continually work for the common good, we pray to the Lord:

For all who are ill: that God’s healing love will touch their bodies and spirits and bring them comfort and wholeness, we pray to the Lord:
Come Emmanuel, Hear our Prayer

For conversion of mind and heart: that we may be freed of greed, selfishness, and abuse of power so that we may be open to God’s gifts of life, salvation, and wholeness, we pray to the Lord:
Come Emmanuel, Hear our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may strive to fulfill our duties to others and strive to use our gifts to ease the suffering and promote the wellbeing of all our brothers and sisters, we pray to the Lord:

For the Church: that we may make ready a way for the Lord and make a straight path for God in our hearts, within our families, and in our work places, we pray to the Lord:

For an end to war: that God’s Spirit will inspire the hearts of all world leaders to take risks for peace and seek new ways to honor the dignity of each human person, we pray to the Lord:

For all who suffer from storms and the cold: that God will lead them to places of safety, assist those working to restore power, and fill their hearts with hope and courage, we pray to the Lord:

For all who are oppressed: that God may smooth the pathways of their lives and bring low those who abuse their power and authority, we pray to the Lord:

For those who are mourning, or are otherwise experiencing misery: that they will take comfort in the knowledge that their tears will be replaced with rejoicing when they see the salvation of God, we pray to the Lord:
