Our Response is Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the Church: that the prayer, fasting, and almsgiving of Lent may bring forth a springtime of faith in our lives, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the growth of peace in our world: that God will strengthen the resolve of all state leaders to seek non-violent ways to resolve conflicts and promote the good of all people, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all those who are forced to fast every day: for the homeless, for refugees, for victims of war and natural disasters: that our own fasting will make us more aware of their emptiness, and empower us to be more generous to all of the needy in our lives, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For those preparing for Easter sacraments: that God will draw them closer to Him, and help them turn toward His light and holiness, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may be led by the Spirit to confront all of the demons in our lives and in our society, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the silent prayers of our hearts and for any special prayers you wish to mention now…
