Petitions for 1/13/08

I am still having issues with being able to upload a file of any kind to My UW, although I've now addressed the problem as being the fault of my computer: I also can't attach files to email, or save files from the Internet. This means that until I figure out how to fix it, I can't upload the file in Microsoft Word. Sorry!

Our Response is Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the Church, called Beloved by God: that we may respond to God’s call and strive to fulfill righteousness in our actions, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the members of Congress and state legislatures: that God will guide them in their deliberations and help them bring forth justice for all of their constituents, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For an end to the violence in Kenya: that God will guide the leaders of all factions to find peaceful ways to resolve conflicts and promote justice for all people, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all who are discerning vocation choices: for those considering marriage, religious life, or ministry: that God will inspire them to greater love and move their hearts toward life-giving paths, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For all who are preparing for baptism and for those who are newly baptized: that the Holy Spirit will guide them toward growth in faith, wisdom, and holiness, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear Our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may know the length and breadth of God’s love for us, and share it with one another, we pray to the Lord:
