Petitions for 3/26/06
MS Word Document
Fourth Sunday in Lent
Cycle B: March 26, 2006
General Intercessions
Our Response is Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the Church: that we may grow in our awareness of our dignity as temples of the Holy Spirit, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the grace of conversion: that the Church may be continually converted and transformed into the Body of Christ through our observance of Lent, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For an end to bloodshed and violence: that God will lead people away from killing and violence into paths of peace and reconciliation, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For all who suffer injustice: that our hearts may be stirred to take action to free those bound unjustly and lift the burdens from those who are oppressed, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the Elect: that they may reflect upon their lives and allow God more fully into their hearts this Lent, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may strive to place God at the center of all our decisions, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the silent prayers of our hearts and for any special prayers you wish to mention now…
(Pause for others to pray and for the priest to conclude with prayer)
