Our Response is Lord, Hear our Prayer

For the Church:
That we will be able to listen to Jesus, the Son of God, as Peter, James, and John did; we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer

For those in positions of power all over the world:
That they will create and enforce law in a way that protects the dignity of human beings by guaranteeing religious liberty and advancing social welfare, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer

For those who feel condemned, marginalized, or outcast:
That they will know that God is with them, and that Jesus is constantly interceding on their behalf, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer

For those who live in poverty:
That they will be sustained by God and by the almsgiving of the people of the Church so that they can make it through their desert of need, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer

For the members and friends of St. Paul’s:
That we will be able to trust God as completely as Abraham did, and do our best to follow his will, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer

For the silent prayers of our hearts and for any special prayers you wish to mention now…
