MS Word Document!
Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cycle B: October 8, 2006
General Intercessions
Our Response is Lord, Hear our Prayer
For those who exercise leadership within Church: that the Spirit will guide their motivations so that the Body of Christ maybe strong in faith and united in love, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For peace and an end to armed conflicts: that the leaders of nations may strive to find non-violent ways to settle disputes, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For all married couples: that they may invite the Holy Spirit into their relationships, and that Spirit may keep their relationships kindled, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the grace of discipleship: that we may be faithful to the teachings of Christ, who was made lower than the angels so as to taste death for the sake of the salvation of all people, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the members and friends of St. Paul’s: that we may walk in the ways of the Lord and in turn be blessed by Him all the days of our lives, we pray to the Lord:
Lord, Hear our Prayer
For the silent prayers of our hearts and for any special prayers you wish to mention now...
(Pause for others to pray and for the priest to conclude with prayer)
